Awarding winning rapper, Michael Owusu , better known as Sarkodie, has explained the emotions that went into his iconic rap song “ Mile 7 Saga”.
This heart felt message was delivered after a fan who did a breakdown video of the song asked the rapper what he was feeling during the time he wrote such emotional lyrics.
According to Sarkodie, the lyrics are real and depicted the struggles he went through as a kid while staying with other relatives other than his biological parents.
He added that those days were the “darkest”moments of his life and he prays every child facing same challenges find their own breakthrough soon enough.
“Mile 7 Saga “ is a rap song by Sarkodie that narrates the harsh treatments meted out to him by the relatives he stayed with during his childhood days in Accra.
The lyrics create a vivid picture of the struggles and pain of a child who was being raised far from his immediate family.
