Tyus Jones Sr. is a professional basketball player in the National Basketball Association for the Memphis Grizzlies (NBA). He previously spent four seasons with his native Minnesota Timberwolves before joining the Memphis Grizzlies in the 2019 summer.

He was a member of the 2014–15 National Championship squad for the Duke Blue Devils during his rookie season. Rivals.com, Scout.com, and ESPN all put him among the top 10 players in the national high school class of 2014.

He was the Class 4A state champion for Apple Valley High School, as well as three-time Minnesota Associated Press Boys Basketball Player of the Year and three-time Minnesota Boys Basketball Gatorade Player of the Year.

In 2014, he participated in the McDonald’s All-American Boys Game, the Jordan Brand Classic, and the Nike Hoop Summit. At the 2014 McDonald’s All-American Game, he won the skills competition and had the lone double-double in the Jordan Brand Classic.
