South African born international award-winning comedian and TV personality, Trevor Noah receives another recognition in addition to his numerous ones.
The host of Daily Show has scored himself a huge nomination as he gets nominated for Male Star of the Year at the Critics’ Choice Real TV Awards third annual.
The nominations for this year were announced this Wednesday, 2 June 2021.
Trevor is nominated alongside RuPaul, Stanley Tucci, Guy Fieri, and Phil Rosenthal.
As a comedian, he shared the exciting news on Instagram through a funny video clip.
“When your friend passes you a note that says @thedailyshow just won an @MTV Movie & TV award & not 1, not 2, but 13 @thewebbyawards! 🤯 Is this real life?! Wow! 🙏🏾 A sincere THANK YOU to everyone that voted and way to go team Daily Show!,” he wrote.
A few weeks ago, Trevor announced that he is getting back on the comedy stage after almost a year due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
He posted a picture with a caption that reads:
“When you haven’t been on stage in almost a year and Chappelle tells you it’s time to get back on stage, you get back on stage! Few things in this life have meant more to me than having these two legends as my mentors and friends.
All 3 of us share a love for stand-up that only fellow comedians can truly understand, and it’s easy to keep that love going when you get to share a stage with the greatest to ever do it! DC It’s time to get back on stage, let’s do this people!” He wrote.
