“We had very good and productive discussions with President Vladimir Putin” – Trump reports progress in Russia-Ukraine war
President Donald Trump has shared some positive developments in his attempt to end the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war.
In a post on his TruthSocial, the president stated that he had a “very good and productive discussion with President Vladimir Putin of Russia” on Thursday.
This conversation comes after the US and Ukraine’s 30-day ceasefire agreement in Russia where the US also promised to resume its military aid to Ukraine.

According to Trump, his conversation with Putin was a very positive one, and that “there is a very good chance” that the war will finally come to an end.
In his post, Trump also stated that he has requested that Putin the lives of Ukrainian troops be spared as “they are completely surrounded by the Russian Military.”
According to President Trump, if Putin proceeds, it would be a “horrible massacre, one which has not been seen since World War II.”
