Hilary Devey was an English businesswoman, TV presenter, television personality, and entrepreneur.  She is best known for her role on BBC Two program Dragons’ Den.

Hilary was born in Bolton, Lancaster on 10 March 1957. She was the only child of her parents. There is not much information about her early childhood and educational background.

In 1996, Hilary launched Pall-Ex. the project made her fortunes She also featured in several television shows and programs. She was also the presenter of The Business Inspector on Channel 5. In 2011, she joined the panel of BBC’s Dragon’s Den.

Hilary joined Channel 4 in 2013 where she began hosting The Intern, a business documentary.  She hosted Running the Shop in 2014 and ITV’s Loose Women in 2015. on 9 November 2015, she departed from the show.

On June 11, 2022, Hilary died after battling a long illness. She was 65 years old.
