Jermaine Curtis Johnson II is an American football player. He plays the position of Defensive end.

Johnson was drafted by the New York Jets as the 26th overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft round 1.

In 2021, he was named the ACC Defensive Player of the year.

Johnson was born on January 7, 1999, in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, where he grew up.

His parents are Jay Johnson and  June Roose. He is also known to have an older brother who also plays football.

Jermaine was featured in the 4th season of the Netflix documentary series Last Chance U.

He has a height of 1.96m (6 feet 5 inches) tall.

Where Did Jermaine Johnson Go To College?

Jermaine began his college education at Independence Community college.

In 2019, he transferred to the University of Georgia where he played for the Georgia Bulldogs until towards the end of the season in 2021 when he transferred to Florida State University and played till he was drafted in 2022.
