NXIVM is the trademarked name of the defunct corporation Raniere Keith founded in 19998. The company provided seminars and videos in the field of human potential development.

The NXIVM Corporation was based in the New York Capital District and had centres throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

Following the New York Times exposé, the United States Attorney for the Eastern District of New York investigated the organization, and in 2018 brought criminal charges against Raniere and other stakeholders.

Nancy Salzman was the president of the NXIVM. She was also the co-founder of the cultic organization. After the organization was busted in 2019, Nancy was not spared. She was arrested together with her daughters.

What Happened To Nancy Salman?

Nancy Salzman was the president of NXIVM. She was also the co-founder of the company. Inside the organization, Nancy was referred to as Perfect by members of the cult.

Between 2005 and 2008, Salzman participated in the unlawful surveillance and investigation of perceived critics and enemies of Raniere and NXIVM.

She also conspired to obstruct justice by altering videotapes in a civil suit between NXIVM and a former student by editing and removing portions of session videos in favour of the company.

In March 2018, FBI agents raided Salzman’s house, located on Oregon Trail in Waterford, New York, on a search warrant and seized large amounts of cash totalling $520,000 stuffed in bags, envelopes and shoe boxes, including one shoe box that held more than $390,000.

In September 2021, Salzman was sentenced to 42 months in prison and a $150,000 fine for racketeering conspiracy. Salzman also agreed to forfeit several real properties, more than $500,000 in cash and a Steinway grand piano.

Where Is Nancy Salzman Now?

Nancy Salman is currently serving her three-and-a-half-year sentence at the Federal Correctional Institution, Hazelton in West Virginia.

Nancy reported to Federal Correctional Institution, Hazelton in West Virginia on February 21, 2022 She is expected to be released in December 2024.

What Happened To Lauren Salzman, Nancy Salzman’s Daughter?

Nancy’s daughter, Lauren Salman, was sentenced to five years probation. Lauren was involved in NXIVM and one member of the inner circle of Raniere Keith.

Lauren was also ordered to perform 300 hours of community service.
