Anthony Anderson is an actor, game show host, and comedian. He is also a writer and a producer.

Anthony was born on August 15, 1970, in Compton, California. he grew up with his mother and stepfather. His biological father’s identity was not known. He has a half-brother called Berrick Bowman.

Growing up, Anthony attended Hollywood High School. He graduated from their Performing Art Magnet Class in 1988. In 2022, Anthony graduated from Howard University with a degree in Arts.

Anthony started acting in 1995. His first movie debut was In The House. He made his breakthrough by playing major roles in several movies including Me, Myself & Irene (2000), Kangaroo Jack (2003), Agent Cody Banks 2: Destination London (2004), The Departed (2006), Transformers (2007), and Scream 4 (2011).

He has also played in several television shows like The Bernie Mac Show, All About the Andersons, K-Ville, The Shield, and Law & Order. He also executive produced and starred in the ABC sitcom Black-ish.

Aside from acting, he is also a regular judge on Food Network’s Iron Chef America. He also served as host of the game show To Tell the Truth. In addition, he has served as a guest panelist for various game shows.
