It is well known that many children and adults die in car accidents every day. Everyone who knew him, including his family and friends, was horrified to learn of his passing. His loved ones will always miss him.

Only recently has the word of Nathan Bootz’s passing begun to spread online. He was a Lemmon, South Dakota, inhabitant.

He was the one who unfortunately perished recently in an automobile accident. The crash was caused by Bootz’s inability to negotiate a left curve on South Dakota Highway 20.

The automobile toppled, and the driver, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was thrown from it. It was determined he had passed away there.

Along with assisting the neighborhood EMT, he was also involved in the Lemmon Tractor Pull Association, Sons of the American Legion, and Legion Riders. Nathan Bootz has more friends than the majority of individuals.

Nathan Bootz, age 31, will be buried on July 28, 2022, at St. Mary’s Catholic in Lemmon, South Dakota, at a Mass of Christian Burial.

The only people permitted entry into the church’s sanctuary will be family members, emergency personnel, fellow students, civil servants, and council members.

The public is advised to congregate at the Beeler Community Center, where the event will be livestreamed. Those gathered at the Beeler Center will join the parade as it travels from St. Mary’s Church, which will lead it, to Lemmon’s Main Street and the cemetery.

More guidelines will be given on the day of the service. The service will be led by Fr. Adam Hofer and Deacon Mike Mellmer, and burial will follow in Lemmon’s Greenhill Cemetery.

When Nathan Bootz, also known as “Bootzee,” was born on May 2, 1991 in Hettinger, North Dakota, Patrick and Connie Bootz had a full family. Joining his older sisters, Melissa and Wayne, was Nathan.

This dedicated worker was murdered in a car accident on July 23, 2022, early in the morning, on his way home after finishing maintenance.

Nathan also lost his grandparents, John R. Corcoran, his uncle Steven Bootz, and his cousin Kali Grace Coffey, in addition to his parents, Dr. William C. and Margaret Bootz.
