Who is the minister of water affairs in sudan?
Just like any other country, south Sudan also has leadership roles headed by many appointees including that of a Ministry that takes of water affairs in the country.
In 2016, a young man named Mabior Garang De Mabior was handed the role as the man incharge of Water affairs in Sudan.
His appointment was subjected to talks from various parts of the continent’s media with both bad and wrong reactions.
Even before his appointment, his name was already on the lips of many in the country being the spokesperson of the Machar-led rebels .
The main topic for discussion is the fact that his personality does not match with the usual politicians and country leaders according to many commentators.
Whether good or bad, the young politician gained the trust of President Salva Kir who appointed him to office to serve as Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation in Sudan.
He may not be fit enough for the job if he should be taken through strict processes and theres no doubt his influence as the son of a former ruler played a great role in his appointment.
Mabior Garang is the son of former John Garang who is considered by Many as one of the most influential freedom fighters in the history of Sudan. He is the also the founder of Sudan peoples Liberation Movement/Army (SPLM/A).
