John Frederick TWOMEY, 72, died abruptly on Thursday, January 31, 2019 at the age of 72, after a three-year battle with Parkinson’s disease.

John has worked at General Motors for 30 years. He owns and operates Twomey Water Haulage throughout G.M.’s term.
He has recently retired from owning a snow plow and lawn mowing business, but he is never idle.
With only one phone call, John, a guy of outstanding character and community esteem, was the first to reach out. Lenore (Leahy), devoted father of Tracey McConnery (Greg) and Amy Twomey, and remarkable husband of 47 years (Chris Grady).
Logan and Alexis are “Pako’s” (Grandpa’s) favorite little souls in the world. Lorne and Thelma, as well as his brother Doug, died (Bev). Lorna Arnold (Ed), Marlene McWilliams, Phyllis Monks (Paul), Vera Milne (Colin), Raymond Twomey (Cindy), Greg Twomey (Jackie), and many nieces and nephews survive him. According to John’s desires, it was cremated.
On Saturday, March 9, 2019, at 11:00 a.m., a Christian funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Church in Douro. In the parish hall, there was a reception.
