Castro declared dead today exactly 7 years after his disappearance

Today July, 6 marks exactly 7 years Legendary Ghanaian musician, Theophilus Tagoe well known as Castro disappeared and will as a result be declared dead.

Castro was last seen with his alleged girlfriend Janet Boadu cruising on a jet ski at the Ada Estuary before they crashed, drowned and disappeared, sending shockwaves all over the country and the music world.

According to Law, a missing person cannot be declared dead with hopes he/she may be found alive somewhere else but should that not happened within seven years, the missing person can now be presumed dead and gone forever.

In the case of Castro, It was in 2014 when alongside his friends including Black Stars general captain Asamoah went on a luxurious vacation at the Ada century, however things didn’t go as planned for Castro as he allegedly drowned while riding a jet ski with his girlfriend.

The musician has since never been spotted anywhere and marking the seventh year today will now be considered a dead person according to the law.

Castro needs no introduction at all to the music world especially when it comes to the high life genre, he has in his bag the Hiplife Artiste of the year in 2006 among several other accolades with his last plaque being the Hiplife song of the year in 2014 before his death.
